In a survey conducted in January 2007 for Hotel & Motel Management

46% of leisure travelers rated Wireless Internet Access as very important.

In fact nearly 1 in 4 rated it extremely important.

36% also rated Wireless Internet Access in public areas very important.

The survey results include a breakdown of demand by income, age and by marital status.

At first glance the answer is yes - though the importance tends to increase not decrease.

Internet Acess Very Important To:

42% of married respondents

53% of those that are single

37% of respondents making less then $75k

53% of respondents making at least $75k

Perhaps the most telling response is 66% of married and 69% of all respondents rated internet access as being important.

Nearly 1 in 10 will not stay at a resort that does not have internet access.
